Honor is a smartphone brand from Huawei Technologies Limited. The Honor brand provides smartphone handsets targeting the youth in the country consumers by releasing tablet computers. Initially, it started in the wearable segment in 2013. Moreover, Honor produces cost-effective smartphones. As a result, it enables Huawei to compete with mid-range online smartphone brands in India. Honor released Honor 9A phone in its Honor 9 series a few days back. Recently, they have also released Honor 9S with interesting specifications in India. The Honor 9S phone has a 5.45-inch HD+ display with 720 x 1440 pixels resolution. In addition, the phone supports a capacitive multi-touchscreen display. Further, the display is bright and clear with a 19:5:9 Aspect ratio. The phone also supports a pixel density of 295.4 pixels per inch.

The Honor 9S phone has 146.5mm x 70.94mm x 8.35mm dimensions and weighs 185 grams. The phone is a lightweight phone which has square camera housing at the rear. Also, there is a smooth display in the front.

The phone has a single 8 MP camera sensor at the back with an f/2.0 lens. On the front, there is a 5MP selfie camera with an f/2.2 lens. There is an LED flash with a video recording option. There is no Image Stabilization on the phone. Also, the phone has a video player. The phone provides amazing clarity in gaming.

The Honor 9S phone has an Android 10 operating system based on the Magic UI 3.1. Moreover, the phone is powered by a 2.3GHz MediaTek P22 (MT6762R) SoC chipset. In addition, the Honor 9S phone has 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage which is expandable up to 512 GB through a microSD card slot. The GPU is PowerVR GE8320 which provides an amazing graphics interface. There are many built-in applications on the phone.

The phone has a non-removable 3020 mAh Li-ion battery. However, the long-lasting battery enables the phone to stabilize the output of the system. The phone is charged with a USB cable through Micro-USB port.

The sensors in the phone are Proximity, Gyro-sensor, Ambient Light, and Accelerometer. The phone package has up to 1-year Warranty.

Honor has released Honor 9S phone in India with a 5.45-inch HD+ display and 720 x 1600 pixels resolution. In addition, the phone has an octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 SoC, 2 GB of RAM, and 32 GB of onboard storage. The Honor 9S is priced at Rs.5,999 in India.
