Finally, one of the most affordable phone by OnePlus was launched yesterday (21st July). Earlier, there are speculations that the upcoming phone from OnePlus will be named as OnePlus Nord. OnePlus revealed the launch date. The smartphone will release in India before other markets. The company also clarified on the price of the affordable smartphone. OnePlus will introduce many affordable devices. Some of the upcoming releases are the OnePlus 8 Lite and the OnePlus Z. But the company said the new smartphone to the first device in the new OnePlus Nord line. So OnePlus Nord will be going to come with amazing Specifications. This phone will be the first smartphone product line from OnePlus that will ensure premium OnePlus experience to more users.
OnePlus Nord will help OnePlus with the competition to Realme X3 Super Zoom and Redmi devices in 20000 to 30000 segment of the market. The name of the device is not revealed. It is also revealed that the upcoming smartphone will be released soon with India as its first destination.
OnePlus Nord specifications
There are a number of leaks on the OnePlus Nord smartphone. The teaser of the Amazon also revealed the phone details and Specifications. OnePlus will have Nord Snapdragon 765G SoC instead of MediaTek SoC for the device. This device comes with Oxygen OS 10 operating system based on Android 10. Also, the phone will have a Fluid AMOLED display with a screen size of 6.44 inches and a refresh rate of 90 Hz.
Design :
There are speculations on the design of the OnePlus Nord smartphone. The size of the phone may be similar to the OnePlus 7T in terms of height and width as it is thick. A USB-C port is present on the bottom of the smartphone. But there is no 3.5 mm headphone socket which is often seen on more affordable devices.
The advantage of the design is the camera package on the back. This package consists of four cameras present on the left side of the phone. There are many lenses and sensors on the phone. Also, the lenses have a unique capability. This function makes the lenses prominent instead of hiding them in the design. The phone consists of a mute slider similar to all OnePlus devices. Speculation also suggests an IP53 water protection rating.
Display :
OnePlus Nord smartphone has a 6.44-inch Fluid AMOLED display with 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution. The display has an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a perfect covering. Also, the display is a punch-hole display with a 90Hz refresh rate.
OnePlus Nord Camera :
There is information about the cameras of the device ahead of its release. OnePlus smartphone may be seen with a quad-camera instead of a dual-lens camera. In the previous reports, no one have mentioned the exact camera specifications. However, it is now confirmed that the phone is having a 48-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 5-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2MP macro lens. For selfies, you will get a dual-camera setup of 32 MP + 8MP.
OS and Processor :
This OnePlus Nord smartphone runs on the Android v10 (Oxygen OS) operating system. The initial speculation stated OnePlus supports the MediaTek processor. Also, the processor is a 5G SoC instead of using Qualcomm which was seen in the previous OnePlus phones. It internally has Adreno 620 GPU. OnePlus confirmed that the phone will use the Snapdragon 765G processor instead of using a MediaTek chip.
OnePlus Nord Battery :
The phone may hold a 4115 mAh non-removable battery with 30W fast charging. The phone will be charged through the USB Type C port.

The phone comes in three variants:

- 128GB 8GB RAM
- 256GB 12GB RAM
OnePlus Nord Protection :
The rear panel is made up of glass with curved edges towards the sides. Also, a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 covers the front display.

There are connectivity functions such as GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and OTG. The phone also supports 5G, 4G (supports Indian bands), 3G, 2G.

This device has additional specifications such as Light sensor, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Compass, Gyroscope sensors. OnePlus Nord may have many distinguishing features. The smartphone recently received a BIS certification, with the certification model OnePlus AC2003 /OnePlus Nord. This phone can support up to 5V/ 6A charging speed ( 30W fast charging). In addition, OnePlus Nord looks similar to other OnePlus phones and provides the same software experience.
