Founded by Ashutosh Goyal, Flipshope took off from a small hostel room fueled by a belief that high prices should not come between you and your needs. We believe that shopping is the key to happiness; we wanted to keep that happiness alive in everyone’s hearts and wallets.

Who would have thought that online shopping could save you a fortune? We did! We came up with the concept, we drove ourselves deeper into the ocean, we built the team, we conquered the hurdles to save you from “impulsive purchases”, and finally, we flipped the way you shop, with “Flipshope”.

Founded In 2014
With a vision of creating the best online shopping assistant, Flipshope was founded in August 2014. Since then, there has been no going back.
Launching Of Tech Blogs
Within 1 year, we started our tech blogs and informed users that they should buy products of the latest technology.
Intelligence Meets Automation
In 2016, we got 1,000,000 page views. Not just this, we also added the auto-apply coupon feature to our extension.
People's Choice
People’s choice grew throughout the years, and so did their trust. We have more than 200,000 installations.
Surpassing 100k Users
It wasn’t just downloads anymore; more than 100,000 people were genuinely liking the extension and even starting to shop more profoundly.
Hitting a Million Downloads
Flipshope’s extension crossed one million downloads in 2019. With our exclusive features, it became easy for users to shop. In 2020, Flipshope became the most downloaded AI-based shopping extension.
Official AI-Shopping Partner
In 2021, Flipshope was featured by Google on the Chrome Web Store so that users can shop without any hassle or concerns. In fact, in 2022, we were awarded a 4.6-star rating on Webstore.
Playstore Presence
Finally, we launched Flipshope’s app on the Play Store in 2023. Just within a year, we got a great response and gained around 100k installs.

After achieving all these milestones, in 2025 we were ranked in the top 5 for “most installed apps” on the Play Store.

“ It used to bother me a lot seeing shoppers hit the “checkout” button at peak prices purely out of excitement and rush, only to lose their hard-earned money in the process. I then realised that shopping shouldn’t result in money going down the drain just because of bad timing and poor research. ”
So, with a solid track record in coding and tech, I came up with an idea to make things better and more affordable. In 2014, I launched Flipshope and built a team that helped in various ways to grow the firm. From tracking the prices of your favourite products, alerting you to price drops, auto-applying coupons to your shopping list, to finding the best deals for you, Flipshope does it all.
