The Chinese smartphone company, Vivo has introduced its new 4G enabled mobile Y31L in India. Vivo Y31L is an Indian variant of Y31A launched in China recently. Y31L supports dual SIM and runs on FunTouch OS 2.1 which is based on Android Lollipop. It is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, clubbed with 1GB RAM and Adreno 306 GPU. The inbuilt storage of 16 GB can be expanded upto 128 GB with the microSD card. The display measures 4.7 inches with a resolution of 540×960 pixels qHD. The camera features of Y31L are quite decent with an 8 MP rear camera and 5 MP front camera. It includes HD recording for audio and video, LED flash and f/2.0 aperture rear camera lens. The connectivity options of Vivo Y31L include 4G, 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, FM radio, and Micro-USB. The mobile runs on a 2200 mAh battery. It supports sensors like accelerometer, proximity sensor, and light sensor.
Vivo Y31L is reasonably priced with the tag of Rs. 9450. It is available in the conventional Black and White colors.

Earlier, Vivo had reached another milestone by manufacturing the first smartphone with 6GB RAM – the Xplay5 Elite. It is powered by Qualcomm’s flagship chipset, the quad-core Snapdragon 820 SoC clocked at 2.15GHz, paired with 6GB RAM and Adreno 530 GPU. It provides an in built storage of 128GB which cannot be further expanded. The battery runs on 3600mAh. The camera of Xplay5 Elite is noteworthy. The rear camera is of 16 MP with Sony IMX298 sensor, phase detection autofocus (PDAF) and dual-tone LED flash. The front camera is of 8 MP.
