Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi today introduced a new device in its Redmi 9 series, this device is known as Redmi 9i. However, this is not a mid-range segment device and it comes under the 10K segment.  They have launched it with MediaTek Helio G25 with 4GB RAM. Although,  it’s a good device for those who are on a tight budget and this device competes with other devices like the Realme C12 and Realme C11. Therefore, in this post were are going to discuss the Redmi 9i specifications, price in India, and its first flash sale date.

Redmi 9i Specifications

Design

Redmi 9i is very simple in terms of design and you will find a single camera on the back on the left side with an LED flash. At the front, you can see a water-drop notch 6.53-inch display panel and at the bottom, there is a single speaker, micro-USB 2.0 port, and mic. However, when we look at the top we can see 3.5mm audio jack is still present and there is a secondary mic too. And the SIM tray + memory card tray is present on the left side. Lastly, the volume rocker and power button are placed on the right side.

Display

This device offers a decent 6.53-inch HD+ IPS LCD Display with Panda Glass and a 20:9 ratio. However, according to the Redmi 9i price is seems to be a good display, but don’t expect that you will get AMOLED display type quality as this is a budget segment device.

Processor, RAM & Storage

Now the main parts come, Redmi 9i is using MediTek Helio G25 SoC which is based on 12nm manufacturing technology with IMG GE8320 (at 650 MHz) GPU. Even, it comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage option and you can expand the storage up to 512GB via a dedicated card slot.

Camera

Talking about the cameras, you will get a single 13MP camera and a 5MP front camera for selfies. Although, Realme C12 is having a triple camera setup almost at the same price. But if you are a Redmi fan, then you can buy this device as Redmi 9i specifications are decent.

Battery

Redmi 9i power up by a 5000mAh battery which can easily last for a full day depending on the usage. But, this is no fast charging and you will not get USB Type-C here.
