Redmi hints its release of the new Redmi 9 series in India. There are speculations on Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C on the internet. However, the first Specifications on Redmi 9 series are found. The NFC smartphone has a 6.53 inch IPS LCD panel with 1600 x 720 pixels resolution. The phones may not follow previous leaks. Both the models of Redmi 9C may have a new Helio G35 chipset with 3GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.
The Redmi 9C (With NFC) has a dual camera layout with a 13-megapixel sensor and a 2 megapixel. Also, there is a 5-megapixel selfie shooter. The 5000mAh battery will be charged through a USB Type-C port. It also has a Fingerprint scanner, Gyroscope, Accelerometer, Light & Proximity sensors.
Redmi 9C (Without NFC)
The phone will have two models such as With NFC and Without NFC.
Redmi 9C without the NFC model has a 6.53 inch IPS LCD panel, Helio G35 chipset, 3GB RAM, 64GB internal storage, and 5000mAH battery. However, all the specifications are similar to With NFC model.
But on the camera side, the Redmi 9C (non-NFC) is better as it has a triple rear camera layout with a 13 megapixel, 5 megapixel, and a 2-megapixel sensor. The 5-megapixel selfie shooter is unchanged. However, all the other things are the same in the NFC model.

Redmi 9C Specifications
The phone has 164.9mm x 77.1mm x 9mm dimensions. It weighs 194g.
The phone may have a 6.53 inch HD Plus LCD with 1600 x 720 pixels screen resolution and a 20:9 Aspect ratio. The display is an IPS 16 Million colors bright and clear display.
The camera of the smartphone is a triple camera layout with a 13-megapixel rear camera having an LED flash, 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and 2-megapixel depth sensor. There is a 5-megapixel camera for selfies in the front.
OS and Processor :
Redmi 9C smartphone may be based on Android 10 with MIUI 11 which may be upgradable to MIUI 12. So the phone may have an Android 10 with MIUI 12 operating system. This may provide smooth operation of the device.
The smartphone is found in different colors such as blue and other colors. The smartphone is made up of a MediaTek Helio G35 Octa-core processor. The GPU is Mali-G31.

There are connectivity features like Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi b/g/n, v5 Bluetooth, GPS + GLONASS, and USB Type C port. The device has sensors such as Fingerprint (rear-mounted), accelerometer, gyro, and proximity. However, the internet speed will be standard as there is no 5G support.
Since it has an infrared (IR) blaster, the users can use it as a remote control. It has support for expandable storage through a dedicated SD card slot. Also, a standard headphone jack helps the users as they can connect a 3.5 mm headset. There is no adapter.
The device may not sustain water. So the users should avoid taking it into the shower, using it in the rain or snow. There is no wireless charging similar to most of the competitors.
Redmi 9C Price in India and Launch Date
The phone arrives in three colors in Orange, Midnight Gray, and Twilight Blue colors. The initial price of 2GB + 32 GB model is Rs.7499 in India. The phone may launch in July or August in India. The delay is due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
