Earlier, the Mi 10i smartphone appeared in the Google Play Console listing. Mukul Sharma tipped about the smartphone on Twitter. The appearance gave way to the upcoming launch of this smartphone. The Mi 10i specifications are the same as the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G specs. Even, we can say Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G has launched in India as Mi 10i. Also, it is expected that they may launch the smartphone with distinct names in the global market. According to Amazon, the Mi 10i’s first sale will take place on 7th January for Amazon Prime members and non-prime users can access the sale on 8th January. Body
The front as well as the back may be made up of glass. The front glass is supposed to be a gorilla glass 5. This gorilla glass 5 has high damage protection from drops making the body long-lasting and durable. The fingerprint sensor is located on the side of the phone. The SIM is a standard hybrid dual SIM that includes one nano sim and a dual standby SIM.
The Mi 10i has a water-resistant coating. The IP53 feature protects the smartphone from a water spray which should be less than 60 degrees vertical. It comes in Pacific Sunrise, Midnight Black, and Atlantic Blue color options. In addition, it also prevents the collection of dust on the body. It weighs 215 grams. The display size is 6.67 inches. It has an 84.6% screen-to-body ratio. The display resolution is 1080 x 2400 pixels. The display type is IPS LCD. IPS, which stands for, in-plane switching, is a screen technology for LCDs meaning liquid-crystal displays. In addition, it has HDR 10 which portrays bright lights and contrast accurately. “HDR10 currently supports up to 4,000 nits peak brightness, with 10-bit color depth”. It comes with a display of 120 Hz. This means the display refreshes 120 times per second.

The Mi 10i has a rear, quad camera. The main camera has a 108 MP, 26 mm (wide), 8 MP (ultra-wide), 2MP (macro) and 2 MP (depth). The rear camera has a dual-LED dual-tone flash. The front camera is a 16 MP camera ideal for taking amazing selfies. Both the rear camera and the front camera have HDR, panorama and both the camera’s video quality is excellent, having 1080p@30fps and gyro EIS. The gyro detects gestures for the taking of pictures.

The Mi 10i has a Qualcomm SM7225 Snapdragon 750G 5G chipset. It is an octa-core processor based on 8nm manufacturing technology. The device has an Android 10 version along with MIUI 12. The GPU is Adreno 619.

There may be three options for internal storage: 128 GB 6 GB RAM, 128 GB 8 GB RAM, 256 GB 8 GB RAM. There is a card slot dedicated for the micro SDXC card in the SIM card slot.
