LG has recently launched its mid range tablet, LG G Pad III 8.0 as the successor to its G Pad II 8.0. G Pad III 8.0 is reasonably priced at Rs. 12,348 with decent specifications and hence will be worth your money. The tablet features an 8 inch TFT full HD display with Zero Gap technology to reduce the internal reflective light for a better visual experience. It is powered by a 64-bit octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz coupled with 2GB of RAM. The 16 GB internal storage can be expanded via an external microSD card. The tablet sports a 5 MP camera on the front and rear panel which is capable of recording videos of 1080p. The connectivity options include 4G, 2G/3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/A-GPS, Wi-Fi and microUSB 2.0 port. It also comes with full-sized USB support for pendrives, keyboard, mouse and other devices. G Pad III 8.0 runs on the latest Android Marshmallow with LG UX UI on top. It is backed by a powerful battery of 4800 mAh that can give 20 days of standby time. The tablet measures 210.7 x 124.1 x 7.9 mm and weighs around 309 grams. The unique feature of LG G Pad III 8.0 is the one-click reader that can reduce the blue light to make it convenient for reading. The tablet supports dual SIM and is available only in Black. It can be purchased via Roges and Fido in Canada and there is no news regarding the availability of the mobile in other markets.
LG is also working on its other smartphones in the G Flex and X series. G Flex 3 will be launched sooner with 5.5-inch 2K flexible display, Snapdragon 820 SoC, 4GB RAM and will be unveiled at the IFA 2016 event in Berlin.
