Instagram beta tested this feature in late May and rolled out a new feature to all users on Tuesday. If you want to know how to get Instagram Archives, the first thing you have to do is update your software to the latest version 10.21. Depending on your phone’s settings, it may already be there, but if you can’t find it, a manual update should do the trick.In order to archive a post, just tap the three dots in the top-right corner, like you would to delete or edit it. In the menu now, the first option present due to the new update is “Archive.” Tap the word, and you’re good to go. The photo will no longer be displayed on your feed, but that doesn’t mean that it is gone forever. You can view the picture in the archive section of your Instagram account now.

To view the photos you have archived, got to your Instagram profile and click on the new clock/arrow icon on the top right. You can still see all of your likes and comments on archived photos.
