Gionee has promised to launch a new smartphone, Gionee S6 Pro in China on June 13. It has also revealed a teaser image of the new phone that hints that it would be made of metal. The Gionee S6 Pro is the successor of Elife S6 that was launched in India and China and is expected to release with the model number Gionee GN9012.
The S6 Pro will feature a 5.5 inch full HD display with a resolution of 1920X1080 pixels. It will be powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz; most probably the Snapdragon 652 chipset. The 4 GB RAM makes multi tasking easier than Gionee S6 which has only 3 GB RAM. S6 pro also provides two variants, one with 32 GB internal storage and the other with 64 GB internal storage. It can also be expanded up to 128 GB with an external microSD card. The mobile also features a 13 MP rear camera and 8 MP front camera. It runs on Android Marshmallow with Amigo UI on top. The home button cum fingerprint sensor is present on the front panel. The new logo of the company is placed under the rear camera. Connectivity options will include 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS and USB Type C port. The Gionee S6 Pro will be powered by a non removable 3150 mAh battery.
