Apple’s new iPhone Plus may sport dual camera setup with 3 GB RAM

Apple’s new iPhone Plus :Apple’s upcoming launch, Apple’s new iPhone Plus is expected to feature dual camera imaging system and a 3 GB RAM for the dual camera setup. Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has stated in a conference with the investors that iPhone 7 Plus will sport a dual camera with optical zoom but the extent of the zoom will be restricted by the design of the mobile and the placement of camera.

The dual camera setup provides a multi lens technique that gives the best image quality. In 2015, Apple acquired the Israel-based smart imaging company, LinX Computational Imaging Ltd. This company creates depths of field in single photographs and combines them to produce 3D photographs. LinX specializes in producing SLR-level photographs which can improve low light images and images produced by small sensors in smartphones.

The leaked images of iPhone 7 Plus reveal that the dual camera is housed inside a rounded rectangle while iPhone 7 has a single camera housed in a circular outlet. iPhone 7 will be coupled with 2 GB RAM unlike iPhone 7 Plus. Initially, it was rumored that iPhone 7 Plus will be released in two variants, one with dual camera and the other without it. But Kuo has suggested that all the variants of iPhone 7 Plus will house dual camera setup.

Kuo had initially stated that iPhone 7/ 7 Plus doesn’t have enough exciting features to improve the sales of Apple. But Kuo’s recent estimates state that the dual camera setup is the first for smartphones and the SLR compatible image quality will push up the sales. Hence Apple is expected to ship nearly 30 million mobiles by the end of 2016.

Since the quarterly revenue of Apple has dropped for the first time since 2003, iPhone 7 and 7 Plus is the primary source of revenue for Apple from its products. The CEO, Tim Cook has claimed that iPhone 7 and 7 Plus include features that we did not know we needed.
