Eventually a day after, I got a text message on my alternative number saying my jio sim is ready for activation.. Call1977 bolke!

Now the question I have is, can I call 1977 from my S3?(it doesn’t have 4G) to activate the sim?
Or can I use any other 4G phone to activate it?

I tried calling from the S3!
It says, not registered on network!
I tried to manually select the network but then it says, it sim doesn’t allow this connection!

Can you please help me with regards to this issue!?

    1. Hey smith, as far as I remember 1977 can only enable voice calls, for both internet connection you can call the other toll free number which is 1800-890-1977 from your registered number. This will enable your data connection you can even try from yous S3 too.

      1. I tried!
It’s the same error that pops up saying “not registered on the network” ; it doesn’t even let me place the call…

        1. Hey Smith May I know how you registered to the Jio sim I mean by showing your s6 friends IMEI number right..?

          1. Nope… Not exactly!
I showed him the phone just for the sake of it!
But I already installed the my jio app on my s3 and generated the code and took the screenshot and showed it from the s6!

So technically, even if my IMEI was captured,, it should have been the S3’s itself!
